Yeah, couple things about the op car.
Bumpers shouldn't be painted, rear one is bent upwards, emblems look off-center and somewhat crooked- making me think it might be a clone...
...and I don't care for that colored piping and non factory looking pattern interior.
But that's just me.
Factory pontiac engine, four speed cars like that are somewhat rare and somewhat valuable.
Shame about whatever happened. Almost looks like a fire and a smashing.
There was a white 318 72 car, really clean- on CL here for $11,000, and was gone that same day!
It showed up again three days later for $18,000, and was gone again in a day!
Seriously, you may want to look into listing it on CL.
I've been seeing more and more cross state postings.
Kinda sucks to get excited about things like-
"1969 Roadrunner solid, needs work- $2500" only to have the location (in a FL search) read "Yuma AZ"

It would be gone in 3 days down here.
There are two JUNK 73/74 Cuda's down here, totally rusted out...advertized for 6K and 9K!!
Sweet.
There used to be one of those that hung out at a local "mud bog" hole.
Almost bone stock, but with slightly wider tires.
The owner and his buds would just sit around and if someone in one of their "hot rodded" mud trucks got stuck and no one else could get them out in less than 20...
