The shoulder of the lug stud (x5) also supports the weight.
It should be relatively easy to find that five 1/2 inch bolts of grade 8 or what ever the studs are rated at are indeed strong enough to support 1/4 of the weight of the car, and the associated stresses and torques.
The threaded area...
I wouldn't worry about the hub center.
I would however, be concerned that the lug stud shoulder, small as it is, is not present for the lug holes on the rim to ride on.
Therefore, the rim is riding on the threaded portion.
At first I thought you deepend the scallops and thought that was cool.
...but you made them functional. That's cool-er.
...and I was ready to not like the stripes...but it kind of gives it an altered wheelbase vibe. Very interesting.
The trade off with the TQ vs the AFB/AVS is the maintenance.
There's almost nothing inside the AFB/AVS, making it super easy to disassemble, clean and adjust, plus the rods and jets are available new.
While the TQ offers smaller primaries and potentially huge secondaries, note that most of the...
I've always just run the pan but...
There is an issue with potential leakage- usually on the bottom side somewhere.
Oil wicks out and ends up pooled in the middle of the pan.
Hard to track down.
Most builds I've seen in the past few years show them using those side gaskets.
IDK. I've never...

Buy them new today for under $1000, or hold out to find them at swap meets, or here for several hundred less.
Very common parts.
There are some curvy roads around lakes where I live, some with close to each other 90 degree sections.
"Back in the day" (circa 1988-91) with 70 series 14" radials on the front and L or M 60 bias 15" on the back and 3.55 sure grip in my 70 Super Bee, I could out handle brand new mustang GT's...
How tall are you and where is the height?
I'm 6'3" with a long spine.
I barely fit in a factory bucket car with factory brackets, and that's after I remove the factory 3/8" spacers from under the tracks.
I've even contemplated swapping parts of bench seat tracks into the outboards to gain an...
Delrin is an engineering plastic similar to nylon or acetal.
It is moderately self-lubricating.
The most common application I can think of, believe it or not- is model train freight car trucks.
They can take a sharply pointed metal axle turning in them for decades without perceivable wear...
I agree with post #4
The roof line and wheel well opening work together on the Charger.
I personally LOVE the 66/67 Coronet roof line but it does make the top of the quarter look too narrow and exaggerated with the big opening of the Charger wheel well.
@AJReigart -
I'm slooowly building a...
