    1968 GTX Resto

Here is a pix of my 68 the day I got it loaded up to bring home. The red stripes were obviously changed from white by the original owner. But it is a factory two tone paint car: question, was the chrome trim used to separate the two colors, as used on all vinyl top cars, factory on all two tone...

    1968 Plymouth GTX

I have enjoyed tagging along on your refurbishment project on the 68 but it kicked up a notch when I realized you were going with Frost Blue. Not one on my favorite blues, but also the factory color of my 68. I thought about going with QQ1, as was on the build sheet in my car but not for my car...

    My 71 Road Runner 340/727 F7

As sad a shape she had fallen into, at least you were able to hang on to her. And appears you kept most ALL the parts. That is half the battle to me not having to find reusable core parts. Do her well, she has been patiently waiting quite awhile for you......keep us posted up on this...

    1968 Roadrunner refresher

Great job Sir, coming along very nicely. I have now attempted several headliner installs and the frustration factor does go down....they get easier and results have gotten more desirable. Looks good.

My new project 1974 charger 318 se

Are you looking to stay with the OEM style booster or looking for the smaller aftermarket type. When I was doing my restomods last year there were none available from the parts stores so I had Booster Dewey rebuild my original unit. They did a great job, he s just up the coast from you.

    1968 Plymouth GTX

New roof skins and rear deck pans do not have the factory nubs for the moulding clips, so, what is the preferred method to installing them, pop rivets or small screws. Great metal work, really coming along.

    My 68 Super Bee project

I am with ya on that one, I don't cut sheet metal anymore if there is any way around it. I just left the smaller hole over the bigger speaker and my old ears cannot hear any difference in the sound.

    My 68 Super Bee project

Ok, regarding your rear speaker installing can we get a historian to chime in. It seems , at least to my b bodies that the rear speaker cut outs were made for different size speakers, seems maybe a 6x9 on one side and a 5x7 on the other, correct , yes or no. I don't think one could order a...

    1968 Charger the start

A car can be restored a 1000 times, but its only original once, and I have enjoyed seeing some truly immaculate restored cars. But, seeing survivors , bumps, bruises , and blemishes all, are my personal favs. We all like what we like, and its good to have choices, so , remod, refurbish to YOUR...

    1967 Hemi GTX restoration

Great pics, thanks. Sir, a newbie here, so I see undercoating in the wheel wells as well as what appears to be black paint. Same in the engine bay, so , was the engine bay painted that way from the factory or was it painted maybe by a previous owner. I am aware the factory painted black around...

    67' Faux GTX

When I was quite young and expressed my wishes to do a complete restoration I remember the words of an older hot rodder, he said, "You can take a car apart in a day and NEVER get it back together UNLESS you do something to it every day. Clean something , paint something, collect new parts...

My new project 1974 charger 318 se

That roof is as rough as they come. In my limited search I have not found a repop roof skin for the 71-74s, you may need a donor car top. With the size of some of them holes, I don t think any bondo will stay. A possible temp solution would be to fiber glass the glass mat to the underside the...
