In line tube for the lines. Sorry for the miss hap. Just cannot trust anyone anymore. Had to have my car towed and the tow truck drive came at the car with steel hooks and chains on them then looked under the front of the car. I said what are you doing he stated he was looking for a place to put...
Might consider a 6-leaf spring. I put 2-inch recurve. Did not want to put air shocks on the car due to have many ones fail. Thought it would ride somewhat stiff but not so. Just my two cents.
Did a partial alignment. To get the car on the road. String from back tires to front tires. Use bubble level too check canter and camber. The guy at my alignment shop said I was not far off. When doing alignment at our station had a weight to put on steering wheel so it was straight or...
Do you have extra adjustment on the adjusting bolt. Crank it up then have the front end aligned. Mine are original to the car and do not have any issue with them.
They are all pink on the inside !!!!!!!! Would take it apart and clean every thing with WD Forty. Small soft brisel brush but not wire brush run through the body. Maybe some small trash in there. If not just might be in the master cylinder as stated.
Don't believe you should have that kind of play in them. Would replace them for sure. I have read they do not like side pressure as to sliding sideways or making hard turns over and over. Like those guys that like to slide their cars while burning the rubber off the tires. Put my set on and have...
Had this happen to me a few times. Did all the checking and chasing. It ended up being a pin hole in the diaphragm. I can agree on the length of the pedal rod it must be the right length also. Back in the day rebuilt my own power booster's. Hope you get it figured out. I am running manual brakes...
Wiwood also front changed to disc. Easy change and using the manual brake revisor. Had to buy the line kit too hook the brakes up to my old lines coming from the old system. What a difference it made. No spindle change will work with the conversion. Summit racing for me also. Good luck and you...
Another thing done. Very good job. Yes, those bushings are a pain. Found an article on You Tube on how one guy doses them. Still not an easy job. So, check that off the list what is next. LOL.
Don't you just love it when the Doc. say's your not as young as you use to be. Now pay the nurse. Know the feeling. Do stuff I use to do and now pay for it in the end. Hope you get better and get that bee on the road.
Cheap Oil can from HF. Bought one a big one and some flex line that fit the bleeder on the wheel cylinder. Pump from the longest line in the back. Keep checking you brake hopper for air and keep it about half full. Some times better to have a second set of eyes on the master cylinder reservoir...
The Six leaf spring's would make it handle better is what I am finding out. Still want to put a Sway bar on the rear. Keep us informed as to what you decide.
Have 6 leaf on the runner from General spring. Thought they might be to stiff. But once car was loaded and fuel in the tank it rides well. 2 1/2 inch recurve. One thing where rusty in places so took them a part and painted them. LOL. Each to his own but just my two cent's.
Got back home from having them turned one more time and put them on. Reset the shoes and it feels a lot better. Now think I need to have the back ones turned also. Thanks for the info. Blue.
Well my bad. Must have used the old one. If they where not bad that is what I did. But I bought so much new stuff and it has been a while since doing them guess I forgot. LOL. I know you had done your research when doing your brake job. So now this makes me think the drum's are still my problem...
