I have a new set of 440 Source hesds that I need to paint. I'll be using a good primer & then high temp paint. My question is, do I mask off the intake & exhaust ports before painting ???
Not sure what these are called. 70 RR hardtop. The Moulding that attaches to the front driver & passenger windows that go up & down with the window. They seal the front door window to the rear door window. Mine is pulling apart & I want to replace them. What are they called & where can I get them.
I've been told cars from the Los Angeles plant ( 70 Roadrunner ) came with organasol hood paint treatment. With a repaint coming, is that true. Or what other paints did they use ?
Going to have my 70 RR painted. I am going to replace all the door & truck seals. Also the window whiskers & front windshield gasket. Who has the best replacement products for those items??

I wasn't sure to remove just the bumper or if removing it with the brackets was the easiest way.
The bumper has no dings or dents. Just very bad chrome.
I have a 70 RR. I'm replacing the rear bumper. What's the easiest way to remove it & should I rechrome it or buy a new one?? I've called a rechromer & they want $850 for it. Or what does a aftermarket one cost?? And who should I buy it from?
Thanks
Chuck
The Dr side window had a larger gap at the top rear rubber moulding. I tried to adjust it & everything got out of whack. Right now if I try & roll the window down. It has a lot of resistance to it.

I have a 70 RR. I needed to adjust the driver side window & really messed it up. It had a big gap where the frt & rear window meet. Now it's so far out, it's hard to roll up. Is there a simple procedure to get everything lined up correctly???

I've tried the windex & that didn't work. A friend suggested Armor All. So far that is working. I just don't know if that is masking the wax or removing it. I'm picky when waxing the car, but a little got on the edges as I waxed it.

70 RR with the organasol hood stripe. I need a way to removal the over zealous wax job I put on last winter from the stripes. The wax is only on some of the stripe.
