1973 Sebring “plus?” Need help determining if I should sell this or restore it? Value as is?

I would spend exactly $150 on the car. You will get more satisfaction out of that car by sending it back to your Dad, and having the towing company plunk it down square in his way. It will be the best $300 lesson you will learn in the hobby. Then, go about finding the car that suits you best...

Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

Going to try to spring this one from the grip of time. And, I just found this 72 parts car for it yesterday.

    Insane parts prices!

And how about the K Mart lunch court? We used to take my grandma to K Mart all the time after the Kresgee store closed. We would shop for awhile, then head to the lunch court and get us a grilled cheese and tomato soup. And chocolate pudding for dessert. I’d give anything to have one of those...

    Insane parts prices!

I would love to have one of those, I would just leave it flashing all the time. Now, I wish I would’ve come up with the “engine displacement” pricing game that our member “Mobileparts”Craig came up with. You pile up your parts, he asks you to name a Mopar engine displacement, and that is your...

    Insane parts prices!

I don’t price my stuff, if only because the price is what myself and a buyer agree on. If someone asks, I tell them what I want, usually it is snapped up without negotiation. If there is negotiation, it always is in the buyers favor. It doesn’t bother me to ask about a price if I’m looking at...

    Insane parts prices!

Saw an NOS dodge truck grille for sale…$2500. Now that rocked my plimsol!

    Insane parts prices!

We could talk insane B body prices too, so I had to counteract that with the sale of the 70 Roadrunner to a member here. $4500 project car…yes, I probably could’ve gotten more, or made more money selling the parts separately, but I wanted it to go to someone who would maybe use it.

    Insane parts prices!

Well, you didn’t stop at my spots, but I’m not known as the “cheap parts guy” for nuthin’! Some folks who bought parts thought I was kidding about the price, some like to throw out low offers not expecting to get the part, they were alway met with a “get yer money out”! I’m in the business of...

Your turn to play 'Will these wheels fit a 1973 satellite?!'

They will fit if they are indeed 4.5” bolt pattern, but the price is quite high for those rims, unless those are your dream rims. You can get some steel wheels and roller tires for about $100 just to roll it around.

    Rare satellite?

Was there a base model Satellite in 72? I’m not too familiar with the Satellites from 71 and on, although I did have a 72 Sebring and my folks had a 73 Sebring Plus

    Rare satellite?

What would the prefix for a Satellite Sebring be?

    Rare satellite?

Since 72 was a strike shortened year, I would say that besides it being a Sebring, and not a Sebring Plus, that it’s probably pretty rare.

Anyone close to NYC want to rent their car to a music buddy this Friday?

I liked the whole video. Not because I like that kind of music, although I thought it matched the video, but because I appreciate the hard work that went into it. And yes, I’ve made dozens of videos over the years, and I’ve been a musician my whole life, with a couple of CD’s out there and...

    Special Order does not exist.

well, my post wasn’t meant to corroborate anything other than the fact that some kind of “factory” intervention was possible. In the case of the OP’s story, I still stand by my theory that it would’ve been ordered as a 340 car, and as mentioned above, would’ve had the 6 bbl intake sourced from...

    Special Order does not exist.

There may be a small bit of truth to his story, but how much is lost to time. I agree, salesmen will do just about anything to make a sale. However, I do have an instance where a factory rep was involved in the sale of a car. In 1970, my Dad wanted a Roadrunner, and must’ve told a coworker...

    Special Order does not exist.

The only plausible scenario I can see here is that the car would’ve been ordered with a 340, and the intake and carbs would’ve been aftermarket or NOS from a dealership stockpile. It would not have been a T/A motor, just a 340 with dealer installed intake and carbs.
