Hi, sounds like a good setup. I like the Victor and a 950 0r 1000 hp series should work fine. I do not know about the oil pan issue for a 67 but i think you have got an answer. Like the last guy said tie the frame at the very minumum. What else is done to the car? cal tracs or 4 link,what...
My bet would be the 440 or something bigger. I do like built smallblocks, but with a 2 ton plus car displacement is going to be a winner. Like the man said " you can pay now or pay later" They are all expensive to build. Good Luck.
A few guys in WNY are using the Pro charger setup with an intercooler here in W.N.Y. and making a lot of power on the LS1 / LSX engines. So much I would not even post it here, because if you have not seen the numbers you would think it was possible.
You may want to think about a good plate Nitrous system. but with the addition of a system you have to make sure the rest of the fuel system is up to handling the addition gas flow/supply. This is assuming the rest of the engine is fresh. A 150 shot will wake your 440 up a bit. And always use...
Well that Chevy motor is probably an LS1 346 (5.7) not a 5.3. They are pretty much cutting edge technology and can make big horsepower. If that is what he running you won’t have a chance to beat him. I know of several LS1 cars putting 550 Rear wheel HP to the ground with a good head and cam...
IS your cam a roller or Flat Tappet? If its a roller Harland Sharp is the way to go based on the higher spring pressure you will need to Run. With th EZ head you do not need off-set rockers, your pick wide open. If your using a flat tappet cam i would look at the 440 source bushed rockers. There...
One i forgot to mention is Dorvak Machine, they make a trick setup using small diameter shafts and bushed rockers. I do not know any one using them but the Max-wedge Super stock guys perfer them. I think they are worth a look.
Hey Landman, I have been looking at a bunch or arms due to a failure on my engine. And from what i have seen two seem to stand out, the Harland Sharp and the bushed Rockers from RAS.The Sharps have approx twice the area of Crane gold arms, my builder loves them. The RAS arms look very strong and...
I was glad to see Allen Johnson win in PRO Stock with his Hemi at the Mopar Nationals. It been tuff for the Mopars in Pro Stock for a long time. Ron Capps Put his Charger Funny Car in the winners Circle again too.
