According to his original post fuel perculation isn't the problem it's evaporation like every other carbureted vehicle.

My experience is ALL gas today evaporates quick! It's a big problem if you run a carb.

The early AFB's were small bore without the secondary counterweight. Instead they utilized a downleg booster for secondaries Not the best carb but the original for my car so it's a keeper. AND the air cleaner fits!

Harold is a retired 30 year GM tech who moved from Chicago to Az a few years ago. He will be getting ALL my carb work from now on.

I like this lil trick which he did on mine..I can tell you I have zero bog and can incinerate those polyglas at will. Not bad for a big block without a loose converter & 3.23.

I just realized today I am looking for the wrong pump for my 64 426-S...I need an MS-3672S which is the crimped style not rebuildable or so some say.

If Rick is selling something for a little more $$$ than others there is a good reason. His parts are always correct, fit & function like their supposed to. Just my experience.

Yep, I viewed the video...talked to Tom today about finding a date coded pump for my 426...I think I'd have better luck dating the prom queen. Maybe I'll just buy a 6903 from Summit and ship it to Tom/Mike for inspection and correction if need be. I have no idea what pump I currently have and...

So let me get this straight...if you order a 6903 you need to pull it apart and rebuild it??
