Maybe just crazy talk but what if one were to contain the concerned area and fill it with expanding polyurethane foam? I know it doesn’t get completely solid but it would add some rigidity and limit any flex or bends in the plastic.
Just a thought
Dzien dobry!
My 2 cents is to find good original pieces to replace yours with. Or even reproduction pieces would be something to consider just to keep it original in appearance. However, if your car is not an SE, I’d stick with the standard black dash plates.
As for the wood grain console...
Totally your decision but just adding my 2 cents. My 69 charger has headrests but my head actually never touches it unless I purposely extend my neck back to do so. They may (and that’s a big maybe) prevent whiplash but if you ever cracked your head back on one of those headrests you’d be brain...
Hey fellas. Just wondering if there is a way to adjust my passenger bucket seat so the seatback will lock without help.

Good luck!
Some of Chris Birdsong's (junkerup) videos on youtube have some interior assembly of his 69 "patina" charger.
Otherwise, I would recommend taking lots of photos of things before you take them apart if you have a goldfish type memory like me.
This was driving me nuts! I tried cleaning, oiling, shimming. Nothing would keep the bugger closed. I ended up going to a wrecker and taking a lock out of a 68 Monaco. It was exactly the same and this one is like brand new and now my glove box opens and closes just like it should. I don't have...
