    Yes. The 3310 had the downleg booster. -2,-3,-4 have the straightleg boosterwhich didnt flow as well. The 65 396/425 hp chevelle came with this carb.

    Maybe during removal/reinstallation, something caused a slight vacuum leak? Aging vacuum line perhaps?
