Thanks for all the replies. The car is located in Florida. About an hour north of Tampa. It's called Spring Hill. As far as the name of the car, I personally have never seen a 64 Dodge with the nameplate of Coronet. That's just what the owner called it, so I let it go. I think it's a 440 model too.
1964 Dodge Coronet 440 powered, auto 727, 410 gears, garage kept. Body is in great shape. No trunk rust. Nice interior. One owner since 1995. Runs great. Selling for a friend. Please P.M. me for the owners phone number. Asking $16000.
Great. A 5 thousand dollar car for 16 thousand. After the buyer invests 5 years and 60 thousand, he will have a 35 k car. Those a holes are all over Craigslist.
Some one must be paying these prices for these cars, or people wouldn't think that they can get this much for them . The only way is to not succumb to desire, and don't buy it.

Posting for a friend that doesn't have a computer. contact info is in the Craigslist ad. Asking $18,500
Notice in the valiant ad, he can't even spell the name of his car. I don't know where that style came from, but I never saw junk like that in the 70's. Maryland cops would have given the driver a load of tickets for safety violations.
