My car is manual drum brakes. And IF I decided to upgrade to front discs.
Im wondering if I can keep the stock manual drum master cylinder, And yes I am aware of the keep an eye on fluid level requirements if I do
Excellent info.
My car is factory hemi car, so I know I'm fighting a huge boat anchor weight problem already.
I followed it a few weeks back when my daughter was driving it. I really noticed the body rolled pretty good in a simple intersection left turn
So I'm just looking to make it a little...
Toying with the.idea to add a rear sway bar to my car.
Looking for advice or brands or types to maybe avoid or look at closer
It has the oem front bar on it that I have no interest to change or feel the need to upgrade
Call fine lines or right stuff
Any of the brake line manufacturers can set you up with most of needed parts.
Get a new master on ebay for the 67 and up.
Pirate jack is another source for the master cyl
It's an easy upgrade
Ive no reply to your question. Mine was converted to power steering many years ago.
Its a stock B body box, . And he used the Saginaw pump and hoses for 67 or later ( easier to find parts for )
I have no complaints
IMO, but now would be a good time to upgrade to a dual circuit system.
My 66 was converted during the resto 25 years ago.
Even though my car is a hemi car, I chose safety over dead nuts OE correct
A phone call to one of the brake line suppliers will get you most if not everything you need...
Exits master cylinder.
Goes down to dist or prop valve.
Said valve is on inside of drivers side frame rail. Directly down from master cylinder.
Rear line travels along frame rail. Passes thru Trans/ torson bar crossmember.
Then runs along side drivers side rocker panel.
Towards rear axle
rear brake line doesnt go thru the firewall?
Rear brake cable hole is just forward of the emer brake pedal assy., Also visible underneath the left front wheel opening
