The alternator is / was an nos Mopar piece 20 years ago. I put an nos points type VR on it over 2 years ago ( to replace an ugly electronic version ) . And Ive not noticed any high voltage issues ever
Hard to nail it down unless you know wire lengths of a cable you think it may be.
But its definitely 67-70 Hemi B body manual trans, exactly what year. I've no idea

Yep, for me the end HAS to justify the means.
At almost twice the cost of my current plan. When 90% of the people looking at it will never catch it.

The over the counter Mopar group 27 in it now is going on 12 years old.
So, where are these great Correct Mopar batteries avail. ?

Sorry, But I am not interested in sinking $300-500 in a OE correct battery I'll be replacing in a year or two. Thats a hard pass. Ive owned two of them in the past. NEITHER one lasted over 18 months. Thanks but no thanks

Agreed.... and I knew that when I bought the car in 2020.
It has lived on a battery tender anytime the car is not in use.
And I kept that tradition after I bought the car. But I have a feeling it's time is nearing an end.. So looking around now.

The Mopar battery in it is 12 years old
And I've noticed it slows down quicker lately if I have to crank it a while.
