Might have been the guy who was damn tired of trying to keep a black car clean.
having them in the past I swore I would never own another black car. But yet here I am
I sold the green 69 Hardtop to buy a blue 69 GTX vert ( sold it mid 90s )
I do still have the same young lady though. She,, along with the black car are keepers for sure.
But deep down, if I could find the green hardtop. I would give a valiant effort to buy it back for sure
So if anyone...
With some friends on a trip to one of the IROC races in MI. back in the 90s timeframe. The 1969 GTX is mine
The guys with the two 1970 Cudas, Still own the cars to this day
The tall guy with the blue 70 Cuda bought it used in 1971 , 340 auto car
Don.
My former 67 Coronet with 10" power drum brakes stopped pretty well.
Again...it's only an issue is lot of.stops and brake drum/ shoe Temps rise is when i have to be carefull
One of mine is 11inch 4 wheel drum
The other is front disc and 10" rear drum
I can honestly say the drum brake cars stops better ( but its a very close comparison ) . its only if you overheat the drum brake car is when the disc brake cars stops better
no Dana avail in anything with an auto in 1968 and older.
But they were easily added and often considered an upgrade.
my 66 has one, And I have no intentions to ever change it
Not at all. His budget and his wants
BUT,,,,,,,, The older ive gotten the more working air is desired.
I just the got the factory air working on my 67 Coronet 500 and its NICE to cruise in an old car and have the air blowing cold
PS, I know of a 1966 Coronet Hemi 4spd. I think it can be bought in your price range
works out to about 82k US funds

When I see things like body paint on suspension parts, painted over hood spring , etc etc.
It screams perfumed pig at that price point
IMO mid 40s and thats just a MAYBE on in person look see
At that kind of money there are A LOT of options to get a damn nice car
Hemi car might be a stretch...
IMO. yes, its a real 440 4spd Dana axle car . Owner said it had 4.10s in it. The car has the 4 piston bendix front disc brakes so to me the 4.10s is a a very good possibility .
IMO, the clutch Z bar bracket on the frame looked factory installed.
same for the trans tunnel / hole in the floor...
Key Word
' Could ' be
IMO, low to mid 20s MAX
Fix what absolutely has to be repaired to make it a reliable driver and live with the exterior as is
BUT, that said. I would reserve yay or nay until after seeing the under side for how the OD trans conversion was done
And WHY the door now...
