    Bill Edwards

There have been tales for years now about Bill Edwards and his health, he also moved across the country years ago and in general about the time it takes to complete these business deals. I believe the few other Mopar seat belt businesses are similar in length of time & pricing. I won’t name them...

    Bill Edwards

Personally I had 2 complete sets done like 10 years back and though it does take (a lot) more time than what most folks are comfortable with he does meet his obligations.

1968 Plymouth Satellite/GTX Sail Panels - help please

Cool, I never saw that. Your build date is late. Is the red headliner yours?

1968 Plymouth Satellite/GTX Sail Panels - help please

The ‘68 GTX I have didn’t have the sail panels and I thought that correct. There is a short headliner Rod there. It seems to me they started in ‘69. Mines the same PP1.

2 types of seam sealer for floor pan?

I don’t think it was harder other then getting under the dash. The primer and paint are Rustoleom products applied with a paint brush, two coats each. No spraying.

2 types of seam sealer for floor pan?

Strip caulk, yes, we are on the same page. Honestly I forget what I used in those areas. Here the photos from my resealed job. It funny after doing all that work it all gets covered up. But at least the seals are the best they can be. The pictures got out of order but you’ll figure that out...

2 types of seam sealer for floor pan?

Good deal on the Eastwood and it will be good. The white sealer is, I believe, a round ribbon of puddy that could be used as a water shield in those areas. I think it stays pliable. Maybe like plumbers puddy. But I’m no expert like some here, just a shade tree taught, but learning son of a gun.

2 types of seam sealer for floor pan?

This product worked great for me. It took a whole quart to do the inside floor seams. I had purchased two. Better to have too much. The advice I received here and elsewhere on the proper factory application is to do this job after having lunch and 6 beers. That is if your are looking for the...

Good luck with the repair, sounds like you have it handled.

    Seat belt resto

I don’t know much about restoring seat belts. Sometimes you take a chance to see what works. Bill Edwards made a new burgundy set for my ‘68. There are a few recent discussions about different companies and here’s a few links. Good luck with your ‘66...

OEM AM 8 Track deck installed

The 8-track looks good in the dash. The fact that it plays is fantastic. How does it sound to you? Was the output wattage increased? Sharp looking rims on your blue GTX, if those are the current ones.

Good deal on a set of seats

Certainly seems like a good price but it looks like the mounting brackets are missing from the front seat. Also there aren’t any pictures of the frames and hopefully they are not full of rust. More photos should be requested. Technically I’m not sure if there are minor differences between the...

    Interior Rear Window Trim?

That interior piece is called a dam. Since putting one in my ‘68 GTX I learned that it is (1) attached to the package tray with staples, (2) the rear window needs to be already installed, (3) the new repo ones are a hard plastic instead of rubber so they don’t bent easily, (4) install on...

    Radio refurbish

I had the Aurora System put in my AM radio and it’s great. But you have an AM/FM already, a suggestion is to go on the Aurora website and look at their qualified service installers. There may be one local to you. They should be able to check yours out and fix it if needed. Other options are...

    1969 Woodgrain Radio Bezel (aftermarket)

I have polished the fronts with a series of wet sand paper, like starting with 400 grit. Then up to 1500, 2000 or higher. Lastly use the plastic headlight polishing compound, a drill and those buffing wheels. Mine turned out great

Green seatbelts, is this pile of belts worth anything?

Search for Bill Edwards here. He has re-done two complete sets for me, ‘68 b-bodies. There is a core charge of $100, so a set of yours could be used that way. Obviously you have more than one set, maybe contact him and see if he would give you an offer for all. He probably has the retractable...

69 B Body solid front bench seat cover?

There is an upholstery shop SMS on the west coast, maybe Washington or Oregon that could probably help.
