    Rubber to hide the gap?

Though I have never done it, I have read several threads about folks using '71/'72 bumper brackets so the bumpers will sit closer to the body, thus eliminating the need for filler strips. Jason

Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

Nope its not the original color or original engine. It was a factory 340 car, and it was originally green. I wish I had the original 340, if I keep it long enough I might paint it back the factory green. Its a pretty rare car, with it being a 340/4-speed, and it was a stripe-delete car also...

My Pops came by after I got off work today to help me re-install the hood. I was dreading it, but we got it on pretty quick with out a hitch....didn't take that much adjusting to get the gaps even.

    Freshened up the engine bay.....

After having my 73 Rallye a few weeks, I needed to replace the clutch. So I decided to go ahead and pull the engine and do some cleaning and painting. I just wanted it to look, more presentable and do it on a budget. I know its no top quality restoration, but I think it looks 100 times better...

Looked a '73 for sale today

Although I woulda loved to snag that one up, I had to pass. With Christmas coming up (have 3 kids) and I plan on going to College at the first of the year, and I NEED to FINISH the 69 one day, I decided I didn't need it right now. He must have sold it though, I rode through there the other day...
