Not happy with Year One inc.

Year One doesn't manufacture parts. That being said, they are just a middle man that jacks up prices and have outrageous shipping charges. Shop around on anything you will find better pricing. Year One is the antichrist of the car hobby.

what to expect out of a 440???

I agree the gears are high. I have a '73 with a 360/4-speed and it had 3.23 gears, the pinion bearing seized up on it, so I just threw in an open 2.76 center section I had to get it back on the road, quick. Its like a pig taking off now, Its just a crusier, but I'd like to put 3.23 back in it...

Adeals is a good place....they are a goodmark and AMD distributor...they pretty much carry sheet metal, gas tanks/sending units, fuel/brake lines, front end rebuild kits, weather stripping, stuff like that. They are usually a few bucks cheaper than most places, have reasonable shipping prices...

    Am I doing this right?

There's nothing wrong with that, "fixing it while driving" I think alot of people do that, thats what I've done with my 73. 1st I put new interior in it, then while replacing the clutch, I went ahead and pulled the engine to paint the engine compartment and engine, then put it back together so I...

    Opinions Needed....

I have my 69 Charger Project, but it will be a while before its finished. I always keep my eyes peeled for other mopars projects, parts cars drivers, etc. for sale. Well right now I have on my mind I would like a driver/toy in a $2000-2500 budget. I ran across this car... 69 Plymouth Sport...

This is gonna be a looonnnnggg 10 months!

If the car and parts are free, I would take it, but not as a project, sell everything you can on ebay, scrap the remains and take that money and put on your Charger. Thats what I would do (infact Ive done that) I parted another Charger, kept a bunch of nice parts, and what I sold covered what I...
