Make sure the metal above the bird on the dash is not plated plastic. Cant do much for that.

70RR, You can use a polish like Meguires 7 and a soft cloth or microfiber on the plastic lenses, clear or colored. I use little dab and buff.

my method is take apart, paint, reassemble, use appropriate paints for different material. the best way is always the hard way. it last longer and you be more satisfied.
