Best fitting carpet for 63 Fury with 4 speed

ACC is your only option these days. Find a vendor who handles ACC. If the carpet you have is in good shape remove the seats and sill plates and do a little stretching.

Buckles from seatbelt solutions open under tension

You're right it is my choice. I've been in metal fabrication all my life and I can see the difference between yours and mine. Mine has sharper crisper edges which will fit the latching mechanism better. When the edges are rounded off like the one you bought the mechanism won't hold as good...

Buckles from seatbelt solutions open under tension

I was thinking the same thing. After watching his video I tried the same technique with mine from Seat Belts Plus and I couldn't get it to release. As I already stated it appears that they debured and buffed the one piece a bit much before chrome plating.

Buckles from seatbelt solutions open under tension

I have the aviator style. In comparison it's about the same mechanism. This is in the open position. Believe me I placed all the weight I could on it and it held.

Buckles from seatbelt solutions open under tension

After reading this I had to go out and check the ones I bought from Seat Belts Plus. Here's yours... Seat Belts Plus... It appears to me when they deburred and polished them before chrome plating they went a little overboard and rounded the edges too much.

Window Whiskers/Felt Before or after Window Installation?

There's a down stop on the window regulator. Looks similar to this one. You loosen the nut and turn the screw one way or another. It's an eccentric (oval) shape that allows for a lower or higher adjustment. Your FSM should have the details for your year and model.

Window Whiskers/Felt Before or after Window Installation?

There are window stops that can be adjusted so the window can roll down below the top. Gives you enough room to install the wiskers.

    Soak window regulators?

It's been too many years but I edited my post. It's the felt half of velcro material. It comes in many sizes. The thickness is the most important thing. (Listed in my thread) Go back a half a dozen pages for more info on windows. I didn't install the channel felt till later in the game.

Door Seal too thick, door VERY hard to close.

I've been hearing it on here for quite some time about them being too heavy. Then some don't have any problems like in the link I posted. Looked like Metro was a favorite. My original ones were good enough so I have no experience with them. Joe will make it right if you weren't satisfied.

Trying to find OEM fabric to reupholster seats....

SMS bought everyone out. Maybe someone might be sitting on some. Older upholstery shops might have some older material in stock that might be a close match. Legendary? Legendary Auto Interiors | Factory-Correct and Custom Car Interiors
