I've used/tried everything, except poison. Nothing seems to work better than snap-traps. I won't use poison, because I don't want to kill my dogs or the feral cats that help with rodent control. I'll spread a couple large boxes of moth-balls on the floor on my car-storage garage. It seems to...
Been going on for years. A friend of mine, is a parts manager at a Chrysler dealer. After the EFI harness got eaten out of my dually, he told me that he orders dozens of harnesses for various new cars that sit in inventory for any length of time. People buy a new car, and it won't run when they...
I'm at a standstill on Krusty, as my wiring guy cannot get to it anytime in the near future. I need someone to tie new front and rear harnesses, into a racecar style system. I'll need turn signals [toggle switch] and brake lights [pressure switch], along with the charging system and everything...
A friend lost his huge-dollar sportbike to a lithium battery. He was having lunch with some other guys....and people were yelling "there's a bike on fire!!!" Apparently, it was quite the little inferno.
I have 5 older 6AL's in a box in the garage. They all worked great when removed from project cars. I've never personally had a MSD unit go bad, but I'm about to buy a new "programable/digital" unit. I'm hoping for the best.
I'm selling the older units for 200 each.
Could be almost anywhere. I'd start with the grounds. I ended-up replacing the entire dash harness, rewiring the ignition wiring that burned, checking alternator output, new regulator, a couple gauges, and the ignition-switch....before everything worked correctly in my road runner. I sold it...
Run a painless 8 circuit fuse-box for your accessories. I'd run a new M&H for the rest of the car. There's also 3 or more factory harnesses...front to rear.
I have a repop tach in my 68 runner. We're replacing the entire dash harness, and need to know what the two wires are, on the back of the tach. There's a spade terminal, and a post. Which goes to where???
Thanks.....
