If you can get the size and type of tire you want in 17" there fine.
If anyone know of a tire company that furnishes 31" or taller in a performance tire let me know where. I believe the rims are 17x8.
Doesn't take a degree in engineering to determine the performance capabilities far exceeded the tire and wheel combinations on any performance factory equipped mopar. Them big tall sidewall tires some like on the front don't help matters either.
Not sure what ride you are trying to improve. A shorter tire will make it ride rougher. A shorter tire may help handling characteristics if the suspension allows it.
