How do I get this pulley off my alternator?

    Not if you have A/C.

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

Ha! Not have a honey due list doesn't exclude helping out. I like eating on clean dishes just as the next person. Even let her cook occasionally. But that entails a clausal kitchen cleaning afterward. How anyone can dirty so much and accomplish so little. But still she knows better than to make...

Been married for 47 years. No honey dew list here. Must be something for the wimpy hubby.

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

Heat and grease is about like adding glue. Years ago we greased head gaskets to seal them. Next time the head came off the grease was baked hard. Not sure I would want that in a spark plug hole or in the cylinder.

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

Not sure what the inspiration is to put thread dope on plug threads in a Chrysler cast head. The head was designed for a plug with seal ring. Unlike Cheyby and some Ford's that thought the tapered seat was a better option. Without some type of antiseze they liked to stick. Then some foolishly...

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

They don't have to be cross threaded if the threads were pulled when the last one was installed.

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

You need to kick the last person in the (fill in the blank) that installed spark plugs the last time.No reason to be stuck with this kind of stuff.

Wonder what the threads look like on the plug pulled from #3?

Strange spark plug problem. I can't get #3 threaded in properly.

Is that one of the plugs with better access from the bottom side. Yes, it's been that long.

Has anyone used a simplified horn circuit for greater reliability?

That is also a car problem. Been guilty of it a few myself but that's how crap gets started. I find it best to admit defeat if in doubt before posting. I don't remember exactly, but I think it's this way.

Unless you have wired one from scratch you will never know. The what the h*** where they thinking can up a few times. But it works.

Why is there a GRND connection on my 65 ignition switch?

    I didn't wire it but that's a possibility.

I’m frustrated so I’m cutting this wire!

Why are you replacing good parts? If something works leave it alone.

Melting the potting material out of ECUs

True but this doesn't explain the melt down of the gooey cooling stuff on cars with batteries disconnected in storage or OEM's right out of the box that have set for years. Really doubt if any of the electricals in those units have been damaged just sitting there.

Melting the potting material out of ECUs

Well that's one opinion. Now explain away the ones that have never been used.
