We try not to drive main highways. Now we have the time not to. This winter with closures and restrictions we did not get to many of the places we would have liked to. Stayed on the main highways to guaranty services.

Check for throttle shaft play on the primaries. A warped bowl should not cause a fuel leak. Vacuum leak yes. Check the carb needle and seats. Also the floats. The plastic ones are known to absorb fuel and sink. It is better to switch to brass floats. I do not know if they are still available...
If you value the vehicle and for the sake of drivability and safety I would strongly recommend going to 15" rear wheels. I to have a set of original 14" 500's but will never ever put them on the rear of a HP Mopar again.
Was not much trim on the gtx in 67 no side trim at all maybe some wheel moldings. Flip top fuel cap, trunk lid tail trim, grill and window trim was about it. If you are not trying to dup it to exact GTX spec. any 68 to 70 4 spd console should work, the right top for the shifter maybe hard to...
