    Accidental E-Bay purchase

Yes I have an od unit sitting waiting on me to go threw it. But it's going in the truck that presently does 60@3400. Have a 500 unit I would give away if someone wants to cover freight. Still works but could use some refreshing.

    Accidental E-Bay purchase

But at what cost? Can the end be justify. For some of us the pocket book counts. Yes you will save a few dollars after done. But 10 to 12 K still buys more than a few gallons of fuel. The 2800-2900 also put the teen about where it was designed to be. If anything put a 500 behind it but I...

    Hello from New Mexico

We try not to drive main highways. Now we have the time not to. This winter with closures and restrictions we did not get to many of the places we would have liked to. Stayed on the main highways to guaranty services.

Check for throttle shaft play on the primaries. A warped bowl should not cause a fuel leak. Vacuum leak yes. Check the carb needle and seats. Also the floats. The plastic ones are known to absorb fuel and sink. It is better to switch to brass floats. I do not know if they are still available...

    Tires

If you value the vehicle and for the sake of drivability and safety I would strongly recommend going to 15" rear wheels. I to have a set of original 14" 500's but will never ever put them on the rear of a HP Mopar again.

Young guy's first project: 67 GTX clone.. sorta

Was not much trim on the gtx in 67 no side trim at all maybe some wheel moldings. Flip top fuel cap, trunk lid tail trim, grill and window trim was about it. If you are not trying to dup it to exact GTX spec. any 68 to 70 4 spd console should work, the right top for the shifter maybe hard to...
