Header bolts are pretty. But ditch the dam things unless absolutely necessary for header clearance. It will make installation so much easier and your life less frustrating.
Guess one could wrap their lips around the carb creating a seal. Appears to be a stupid way to check for leaks when there is a much bigger air pump already at the intake part of things.
Put on headers and loss the weight. An engine dino is not the tell all and never will be. To many people put to much into what dino readings contain. It maybe a great source of information for the matching of other components. But to me that is about where it stops.

Think I went to cork and rubber on the last set of valve cover gaskets. Never had a problem with deuteration in 160000 leak free miles with HP manifolds.
