Where To Run A Return Line -'71 Charger 383 Car, 1/71 Build Date

383 cars never had a 1/4" return line but 440 cars had one that ran next to the 3/8" supply line all the way back to the tank.

440HP and Hemi cars only got a 3/8" supply and a 1/4" return. All others just got a 5/16" supply and no return. 70 with N95 and all 71-up got a 5/16" vapor line.

1972 charger - which fuel tank??

440 cars used the 3/8" supply and 1/4" return lines. All others used a 5/16" supply with no return. That is all in the sending unit. The difference between early and later tanks are the 4 vapor vent lines. Early they are on the side of the tank and later are on the front of the tank.

    Power Valve question

I have several DP's with a secondary PV. That is interesting about how you rate a PV. Maybe that is what I doing wrong.

    Power Valve question

Ya double pumpers have a secondary PV and vacuum secondaries don't. Some delete the PV and bump up the jets. I've never done that myself. Funny that Holley doesn't recommend doing that but they make a PV plug.

Fuel tank sendor unit gasket question....anyone use a sealant on it?

Don't see how any lube on the gasket would help anything nor as the gasket or unit plate move at all.

Fuel tank sendor unit gasket question....anyone use a sealant on it?

Or a good used original one. I toss the repros and keep the originals. Cranky I have some good used ones if you need one. Don't use any silicone as it is not gas tolerant. Also there was thick and thinner original rings.

Is there a carb that fits this bolt pattern?

The secondaries on the Edelbrock and Carter AFB carbs are to large for the WCFB flange.
