The wiring diagrams in my 67 FSM shows the orange wires for the dash lights. Also shows the wire going to the gear indicator lamp on the column in the #5 terminal of the turn signal harness connector but does not indicate the color. So it is not a separate harness like the later cars.
63-72 used the biscuit mount. 73-78 used the spool mount.
Mounting ears on big block are the same 62-78
62-72 the V-8 K-frames are the same between small and big block. 73-78 they are different.
As stated before just get the 66-72 BB mounting brackets. 440 Source had them for 55.00

This is commonly referred to as the "vent line" but I can't see how anything vents with it since it just connects back up to the fill tube.
As 5.7 hemi stated, a vented cap will solve your problem.
I just bend my lines when doing a conversion. Front bowl feeds front brakes and just needs a tee in line to split to the 2 brakes. Rear bowl just need an adjustable reguator in line going to the rears.
Might check with Right Stuff, In-Line Tube and compaies like that for pre-bent lines
