Whenever I've done a steering knuckle, before I attach anything....I make sure that the position of the "slip joint/rag joint" is as close to middle as possible. In other words: count the turns from what would be "full right" to " full left" and set it in the middle of that...

Historically, Mopars do better going straight ( with factory equipment), but with all available upgrades. they can handle like a dream. I've noticed that it's a bit harder to cure with the weight of a big block. I'm happy with mine....all OEM, with a little effort
