To add to thread, my wife won't even in my Bee w/o a paint job. WTF?? I think she's scared of the manual brakes&steering after all these years!!!! Course she could be leery of forgetting to turn on the elec. fuel pump(that's not there anymore)..
I go along with "68 Hemi", never ran "triples" myself but always liked Holley's for ease of tuning with the acc.pump cams, etc. Everything is always different; just have to try everything.
Showing a guy at work last night these pictures and he said , "what are those on the frt. wheels?" I hope I was right-- dealer promo for the showroom??
"Superstock"--Simply an awesome car...I'm in Ohio,New York isn't that far away..Can I come over and drool over it just a little?? I'll wipe up the marks I leave.LOL
I was at Garrett Dodge in Akron,Oh. when the first 6-paks came off the car haulers. There was no "arrow" in the frt. of the hood. I guarantee it. Couple yrs. later I bought a hood from Mopar to put on my '68 Bee and there was no arrow on it either.
I put a Mopar 6-pak hood on my '68 about 1972. Got it from a Mopar dealer,no raised arrow and total lift-off. 4 pins to hold it down. Pretty sure that there was only one part number for that hood. Never saw a raised-arrow in my life. Hope this helps.
