I just had to ‘google’ the difference; I’d try that clutch. Engine speed below 2500 it’s full on, then above that rpm it kinda slips along at 2500 but no more. Might take a little longer to warm up engine? Always knew they were put on some cars, but never saw/had one. Yours is free why not?
IMHO, I’d be making sure the housing is flat,flat. OE housing & thermostat housing and never a leak with a normal gasket & regular gasket sealer on both sides. Maybe I’m lucky?
Besides all the above good ideas, you could have an impeller that’s slipping in the w/p. Happens rarely, but just something to think about. Definitely a shroud will help& 7-blade fan.
