    Can’t really help with a ‘69,but I’ve got a story. My ‘68 indicators are actually OEM for a 68Cuda. Classic Industries shows on a different page in their printed catalog. Mine were factory installed!

    My thoughts also, sadly it didn’t work very good on passenger side. Got lucky with a small LED from Radio Shack(before they went bankrupt)

    I went & measured mine, but then couldn’t find the OP. If I remember, about 3-1/2” from front curve on fender. Actually the only option on my car when I bought it. Lynch Rd. also.

    I can go to “the jail” this coming week & check. I think forward is correct. Mine mounted pretty close to the rock shields behind headlight buckets.
