If it's still possible, NAPA used to have a shock catalog that listed collapsed/extended lengths so you could match up what you wanted. Granted this was decades ago.
Sounds good to me, they will usually push fairly hard when cold. Course if it overheats at idle look a little more closely. Mine only rotates about 1/2 revolution with a fairly hard push when cold.
Got all those seals last summer because mine was seeping, trans shop gave them to me free out of an opened seal kit for a GM trsnny(!). They all fit beautifully.
