    Back in my younger days I used to get lucky quite often. Hands at 9 & 3, legs jammed on firewall and rock wheel sideways back&forth while pulling. Stop before hitting your face with wheel. Worked on every model of car 75% of the time.

    I added a map light to mine many moons ago; it included a round brkt that went around ign. switch and a #57(?) light socket that lit up the key hole. The silver canister is the delay to turn off the bulbs after 15-20 secs. The padded lower dash already has a small hole above ignition.
