You will need to remove glovebox door and liner and ash tray as well. The entire dash has to be removed to remove the cluster. I've done it twice in 6 months. :-(
Most the the manuals I found for the late 1960 and early 1970 cars are about the same level of quality as the cars were back then. Not good at all. I don't mind or feel bad coming here to ask those that may have worked on the cars back in the day or have rebulit one today any number of...
