Seems like the hoses are releasing the oil. Might be something in the materials or process they are made with. Put some dye in the compressor oil and see what happens.
They were not a Mopar special tool that the dealers had to buy. Those were a kit that the company Bear alignment company offered. They were a pain and a waste of time.
You most likely can put them at the peak. There are so many different drops and width. As long as the blades do not hit the ceiling you should be good. In my shop it makes such a difference that I know right away when one set might be off by accident.

True. I wanted a good look and quality lighting. I find it best to spend it once even if it may be more. For what its worth my 36 x 42 shop has 11 8 foot commercial fixtures and quality Sylvania florescent 8 foot tubes. I did this in 2000 and have only replaced 1 tube in 23 years.
