Hi Mike, They were advertised as 413 max wedge, but a keen eyed person read the numbers and worked out they was 426 size! (Standard bore 426 which is the most common set 'as a take out and save' but +60 over 413). But thinking back the 413-MW was for 1962 only and that may explain their...

Hi Fishman, Think 1962 was 413 'Maximum Performance' race only engine (not stage-1) as you might think and called Super Stock 413. The 'Max-wedge' name doesn't apply till the 426 in 1963 and 1964, now known as Stage-2. Not sure that any cams of that era will compare to the modern...
