They were advertised as 413 max wedge, but a keen eyed person read the numbers and worked out they was 426 size!
(Standard bore 426 which is the most common set 'as a take out and save' but +60 over 413).
But thinking back the 413-MW was for 1962 only and that may explain their...

It seems a simple thing like finding standard bore 413 MW pistons is really quite tricky?
I would have thought ‘back in the day’ they would have been removed ASAP, and a max overbore done to get to 426 lol.
So any help finding a set greatly appreciated for my 2022 build.

This has been a lifelong project to 'run a hemi'.
So I lucked into an MP iron block and started collecting parts, as and when they came up at the 'right price'.
Wanted to keep it fully Mopar MP and the first head I bought was a damaged 2531110-M that had dropped seats...

Think 1962 was 413 'Maximum Performance' race only engine (not stage-1) as you might think and called Super Stock 413.
The 'Max-wedge' name doesn't apply till the 426 in 1963 and 1964, now known as Stage-2.
Not sure that any cams of that era will compare to the modern...

I found a nice KB hemi block here in the Uk, but didn’t have the cash to secure it at the time.
But not into running the numbers at the moment, just wanna ‘do something different’ there are plenty of fast race cars here and that’s big money to compete.
So just doing a fun...

Wanted please to replace broken stands on an early 413/383 engine.
One or two thin style and two wider oiler type stands.
