my tacho is reading 3500 rpm when the after market I got under neath it says it only running 1000 rpm in the 71 r/t . is this fixable ?

can't you simply put both ends over one terminal on the back of the amp gauge thus bypassing it and joining the two wires ?

does car have an idle stop solenoid , its not the wiring for that is it

hi part of getting my 71 charger registered over here is separating the tail lights and indicators . I know nothing about electrics so get the local auto electrician to do my work .they have succeeded in making the reverse lights into my indicators( orange bulb ) , so now my stop /tail lights...

something to think about ,if your right hand drive like Australia you have to make the lights beams shine onto the "other side " of the road. otherwise the light is in everyone eyes instead of the side of the road , I get the local auto electrical guy to do it
