I am looking to get info on the Dyna Matt sound insulation. Not really worried about price, but looking to find out how much I am going to need. Any and all info is appreciated. I've seen a couple threads on this before. Feel free to tag me if you want. Thanks.
Sending unit gasket! If it's aftermarket, you don't know about the quality of the rubber they are using for the seal. It's my best guess without looking myself. Empty it out, take it down, troubleshoot, fix! That's a serious safety issue!! Let us know of what you find?
Check out the response from Mopar 3B above. The thread he's referring to has an illustration and measurements that might help out. You can find it easy by going to my profile and clicking see more on the thread. Glad i'm not the only one with mating issues!(mechanical of course!):eusa_doh:
Just bought a 1965 RB 440 yesterday. It was set up for an automatic, and I currently have a 4 speed in the car with a small block bell housing. With the casting numbers at 1965 it is internally balanced. So what all do I need to match up these two besides a BB bell housing? Is there gonna be...
Looking to upgrade the rearend on my Satellite. I've been reading how guys are using truck rear ends to build Dana 60's. Can I get some info from either someone who has done it or knows how to. I don't care about numbers matching for this one. Just need the right info in order to search out what...
That's what got it all started!!!

That R/T is straight BADASS!!! Thanks for the input. Looking forward to getting the motor turning and running down the road. The rest i'll worry about when the tire kickers show up.
I currently am the proud owner of a 69 Charger #'s matching with very low original miles. The colors are the Green on Green and am worrying over whether to stay original or change color to suit a more pleasing palette. I have decided I will be selling this car soon and am trying to get the most...
#'s matching 383 HP. Seats, carpet, headliner, vinyl top need recovered. 38,000 original miles. Haven't looked for the build sheet yet. It's surely there! Been so busy, i've never even had time to sit in it!
Looking to get 15K out of my 69 Charger. I think that's a fair price. Getting ready to send the motor to the machine shop for some rebuilding. Wondering if my investment is justified if it's gonna sell as soon as it's done. Pricing does seem to have been going up though.

Been discussing a 67 Coronet 500 with a gentleman up North of me. The going price seems fair enough and the pictures are of good original paint with no visible rust on exterior. Has a factory 318 w/title. From what I gather, the front end is off and motor is out, along with interior. Was...
The wear on the cap bearing could be normal or indicative of worn main bearings, or a number of other things. Keep going, your going in the right direction. Don't forget to lay the main bearing caps out in order just like the connecting rod bearings. I envy you for having the time to break into...
So it was the permeated gasket after all!! That is a relief! Saves money and time if what your looking to do is fix just mechanical issues. Is the motor on the inside clean including the cylinders? If there's no scoring or oil flow problems, put it back together, power wash and move forward...
Check the valves with the covers off and running. Look for oil flow problems on the inside cylinders for both heads coming to the top. Look for anything out of the ordinary. Kinda odd that your cylinders with low pressure are next to each other too. If it was one side I'd say permeated head...
