Block has been setting for a while. No pistons and the walls are rusty. Not looking to use it . Just wanted to see if it was worth trying to sell. Probably will post some pictures and a price to see if there is any interest. Thanks to all that replied.
Got this 440 block that is .060 over bored. Is there any demand for a block like this? I would think sleeving would not be cost effective. Not a HP block.
I have a set of Mopar Forged pistons with the part number 2843975 and casting number of 2843976. Was doing some quick research and couldn't find a match. Anyone know what these are. Didn't get a good reading, but appeared to be less than 4.320. Also the part number should be in the later 60's...
I should have caught that on the oil breather tube. These have to be mismatched valve covers. I have some extras, so I will probably find a 68 with the breather tube. Thanks .
I was thinking that also. That was the closest I could find , but all of the other housings I have are right on the dimension given in the charts. Thanks for the reply. I guess I will post it with the flange to flange dimension and let the buyer decide.
I am not sure what this is out of. It is 55-3/8" flange to flange with 44" c-c spring perches. I couldn't find any specs that tells me what it is for . I am guessing a 1/2 ton pick up.
