I have 245/60/15. Could have gone wider but was afraid to over do it.

Got a quick question about front tire size. Will I have any problem running a 235/60/15 on front? I have 8" rims. I think they will be fine just want to be sure.

I have '72 satellite with 15x7 rims on front with 3.75" backspacing and 15x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing on rear. 225/60/15 tires front and 245/60/15 rear. I got them at Jegs, very nice. Could have been a bit wider tire on rear but these look great.

I was thinking that also. The tires I have on the front are practically new. Guess I'll have to make a decision on whether to buy new tires for the front or send the rims back so I can get the 6's for the front. The vendor has agreed to take them back, thankfully.

Hey guys, I have a question about using 15x8 rims on the front as well as the rear of my '72 Satellite. I wanted to go with 15x6 on the front but the rims are unavailable in that size and the 15x7 also. Using tires 245/60/15 rear and 225/60 15 front. Would the 8's be o.k. for the front? Thanks
