I just installed a set of BFG red-stripe radials on my '66 Coronet which had been upgraded to 15" wheels before I bought it. I used 225/70 R15's. It drives like a new car. If you've been driving radials, you won't want to go back to bias ply tires.
Ohm the sender out before you install it. It should be about 9 ohms full and in the seventies when empty. It took me two tries to get a good one for my '66 Coronet. I removed the tank, (very easy), as I had to replace the vent line also.

65-440, fortunately it's not the vent windows. All the rubber on this car is excellent except for the rear quarter windows.
I have the new quarter glass seals for my '66 Coronet (the flocked pieces that seal against the door glass), and couldn't find any replacement instructions in the shop manual. Does anyone have any hints or suggestions on removing the old seals and securing the new parts?
I have a '66 Coronet Hemi that I recently purchased, and in the process of checking all the brakes, wheel bearings, etc, I discovered that three wheels have 13/16 hex lug nuts, and the LF wheel has 3/4 hex lug nuts. The left side nuts are LH thread as they should be. Which is the correct...
