I have to ask (hoping you might know) Would a PS gear box from a 1966/67 Chrysler Newport have the small 1.125" spline ? Also would the 66/67 Newport PS box fit and work in my 1962 Plymouth Fury ?

I have a mopar style master cylinder 2 bolt type (cast iron with Black plastic tank and black caps). The booster is of the chevy style after market type with a bellcrank to operate the linkage.

Can anyone tell me what the height is from the floor to the top of the pedal pad. On a 62-65 B body (fury) with factory manual brakes and factory power brakes

When I bought my 62 Fury wagon, the PO had installed an after market power brake booster (8" dual unit with bell crankk under the hood) . With these kit there are a selection of flat rods that conect to the brake pedal , and also conect to the bell crank. I think the PO installed the wrong...

I've got a problem like yours (except I have 17-18" vac) ...do you know what size your MC bore was when you had a hard pedal ?.....And what size MC bore was used to get a far better pedal ? My kit has an 8" dual booster, front dics/rear drums..the booster checks good...but still no power...
