TTI is the "gold-standard" for exhausts as far as fit-and-finish for our cars. I personally have not seen any better production system. I have seen some great custom jobs, but not a better off-the-shelf system.
My 74 from the factory, was identical to that! Winchester Gray, stripes, 318, sunroof, ugly seats. But mine had a vinyl "landau" top. I thought that all sunroof cars had vinyl over the sunroof panel to cover-up the poor finish of them.
Hi guys! I also have a 74 RR with the hood. I have also fantasized about making it a true Ram-Air hood. And I don't mean to down anyones ideas. But, can it be made functional? Yes. Can it be made effective? No. That part of the hood would actually be a zero-to-low air pressure area. If...
Dan is very right about accountants sizing the electrics, rather than engineers. I am an electrician, and I work at the factory and see all the short-cuts that that are taken by the bean-counters. There is an example of 94-01 Rams in which if you use your hi-beams too much(country driving)...
Nice car! I have a 74 also, but wheel/tire selection is a long ways off. I always liked the "Nose-Draggin, Tail-Waggin" look. Scientifically sound? No. Cool? Yes! I have seen some 17-18" Torque-thrust style wheels look very good on these cars.
Just to throw a curve-ball into this discussion, why does my 74 RR have the cut-out, in the under-hood re-inforcement, that an air-grabber from 71-2 would have?
Looks good Ron! Did you have them re-screen the "ammeter" gauge to look like a "volt" gauge? That way you can get rid of all the silly stuff behind it, and install a simple volt-meter. Redline gauge has a conversion for it.
X2! But can ya blame him for showing off! Oh, wait, this was about tips! The bottom is pretty though! I live on a dirt road, so rhino-lining the bottom of my RR is in my future!
Heres something I found. It has hose-size-to-AN-conversion charts. And MUCH more information. Cheers!

Good question. Is there a maximum length that the coil wire can be before any drop-off? As far as location, I would put mine out of the way, and away from heat. Heat is an enemy of coils.
So far, good info on the Engine-Swaps link. There was also a difference in the inner-fender on the passenger side. I think the BB cars had a cut-out, covered by a rubber flap. I have a 74 that was a 318, that now has a 383. Wish they put that cut-out in there! Very tight for plugs and headers!
I'm sure you'll get the money, but the parts? Folks here have already offered help locating them!
What a great place and people! I love this forum! Good luck to you, Monkele!
I say thumbs-up on a parts car. BTW, do the Satty and RR share the same grille? The recessed, 71-only turn markers are worth some coin also, if in good shape. Wait a minute!! I see hood pins and cable there! Might this really be an original RR!? You need to do some research! Get the first...
