Just a thought. Would it be cheaper to call a guy that has all the proper equipment on a service truck to do both. Cut , fit and weld.
The Cut will be done right, the fit will be done and welded with good penetration.
Ive had Flys in some of the paintwork Ive done. Doing there death swim. I got a little vaccuum that sucks those little things out of the paint. There legs sometimes stay.
do you think you could get enough pressure out of a pressure Washer to blast sand? If so , I wonder how long it would take and if it would do the task? Or is hourleey the length of time? :)

I use one daily.. but not the one shown.. the wiggle wire is great for deep creases.. the tabs are ok.. But becareful not to burn holes in the metal from holding the trigger down to long.. also,, you still have to work the metal .. but and make sure you prep the back side burns so they dont...
