Try replacing the starter on a Hemi in a Superbee with headers....
Can not be accomplished w/out removing drivers side header, which means dropping the Torsion Bar
I removed TTIs from my 70 Superbee with the 426 Hemi in it.
Going to Original cast iron
Tired of all the hassle etc
But, Headers give you more power
I'm driving slow now
Hi Team,
Attempting to re-install the TTI header, Driver's side on the Superbee.
Are the Header Gaskets "side specific"
Is there a Front side to the Heads?
Or can they be flip-flopped to fit?
Hemi application, shouldn't matter though.
I'm forgetting stuff lately

Hmmm, I have not thought of this!
Very clever, I'll use some small Duct tape on 2 bolts...I will give it a try!
Great idea
(why didn't I think of this?)
They are the TTI gaskets, quite durable but the rear "hole" became a bit damaged due to my attempt to use string tie, so yeah, I like the Stud idea, tomorrow (Friday morning) I'm going to ACE Hardware for 2 studs to try your idea, thank you!
Thank you
I was wondering IF it would weaken the gasket with a residue?
Good solution
I tried some string tie but it tore the original TTI header gasket at the rear
(I ordered new Gaskets)
Truly a Tight Spot
I am eyeballing that option and it seems to be the definitive way to go Vintage Chromoly!
Going to ACE hardware tomorrow morning for those studs!
Thank you
I'll let you know how it goes!

After pulling the starter to secure the wiring, as it was loose on the terminal, my question is how can one adhere or "stick" the Header Gasket to the Header when attempting to re-attach the header to the engine?
1. Drivers side
2. 426 Hemi
3. TTI headers
4. Torsion bar in place
Can a person use...
