If I remember correctly, the difficult clip to get in is the one under each headlight bucket. Terry W.

Air Dam / Splash Shield Fit - '74 Charger

Let's see if I can help some with some photos. Driver Side shield in first photo. Passenger side in second photo. Let me know if you need more. It's dark out there and wet. I hope these help. Plastic T clips go into front valance pan at bottom of photos. You should be able to match up the holes...

Weatherstrip at Top of Door on 3rd Gen Charger

I did mine on my 74 a couple of years ago. It seems I had to remove the big rubber blocks at the bottom of door that acted as stops and it allowed the window to go down just enough to get to the screws. I may have also loosened the door track adjustments to move the window inward some to get to...

1974 Charger wheel lip moldings - NOS or reproduction?

1974 Charger wheel lip moldings - NOS or reproduction?

I bought and installed some reproduction wheel opening moldings on my 74 Charger a couple of years ago. There is a difference in comparing them to an original molding see photos. Mine are the OER brand and look good but appear slightly wider and flatter. If you are replacing an entire set, then...

    Vinyl top replaced with paint?

One last photo of painted top. Too much gloss for the orange peel to look like vinyl.

    Vinyl top replaced with paint?

Which is why I did the orange peel semi-gloss black. I just did the normal sanding of the roof with almost no body work. To get rid of some of the gloss, I may use rubbing compound with my buffer to get more of a satin look. Another photo. Terry W.

    Vinyl top replaced with paint?

Here's a photo of the roof on my 74. I did leave the vinyl top moldings on. Sorry for the quality of the photo. Car is dusty and the building insulation in roof causes a striped effect but you get the idea. If I don't like the orange peel look, I can 600 grit sand it and shoot clear over it or...

    Vinyl top replaced with paint?

I just did this on my 74 Charger Rallye. I bought it with the 3/4 canopy black top. The fender tag calls for a white vinyl top. I just couldn't do another vinyl top, especially in white, without knowing what it would look like on the B5 blue with black side stripe. I painted it black with enamel...

    Drip Rail Sealing 74 Charger

I need to decide what to do in the drip rail area where the roof skin meets the drip rail. I just can't bring myself to reinstall a vinyl top. I know others have left off vinyl tops. What did you use to seal this area. I'm thinking seam sealer but brush on can be messy. Any suggestions on what...

74 Charger Rear Window Trim Install

It's been years since I removed the outside rear window trim from my Charger. I'm ready to reinstall the aluminum trim pieces. What is the best way to install it, all put together as one molding or as individual pieces? I have to be careful as th is rear window has the electrical heating grid on...

    PPG Omni Line Thoughts?

I used it on my 74 Charger since it is a car that will be driven by my grandson. It took 4 coats of color and 3 clear coats for good coverage. I had them mix 2 gallons of color at the same time. It was great for the trunk and engine bay. Just okay for rest of car. I got it for a very good price...
