VIN doesn't have the typical amount of characters and has a numeral for the plant. Seems odd.

Check out this registry. May be helpful. https://sites.google.com/site/1968chargerregistry/ Also, the SO number on the fender tag should match the rad support and trunk lip stampings. The last 6 digits in the VIN are the sequential numbers and won't match the SO#.
