I will check to see if relieving is necessary.
This block will be 4.190 or 4.220 bore size and definitely will check valve to cylinder clearance.
Most likely will cut the valve notch on a CNC to replicate what the factory did on this original block.
Can anyone send me the technical drawing for cutting the valve notches in a 413 block ?
There is one in the big Direct Connection book.
Thanks in advance.
I believe that is a 6 pack manifold for a 383/400 low deck engine.
An original A12 aluminum manifold had a funny looking 6 in the part number that is cast into the intake manifold.
There are others who reproduce tags for parts.
A reproduction distributor tag or radiator tag will surely increase their value, but it is still a fake.
I believe this is detrimental to our hobby.
It will be hard to spot the fakes and the cars that are correct will suffer.
Long ago I ran a Gold and a Chrome box with a nice race distributor in a small block. It was good but I think that I ran a big yellow Accel Super Coil. Probably not the
best choice.
The best ECU that I ever ran was one off of a cop car. I believe the part number ended in 357. It ran smooth...
I have a new Mopar Performance chrome ignition coil P3690560 with the proper resistor P2444641 that I may use with a Gold ECU on my Dart.
Does anyone run this set up ?
Any suggestions ?
This car sees both street and track action
Thanks in advance
I had a friend soak his front and rear windshield rubber gaskets with WD40 on his 28 Packard.
He sprayed it twice a day. Not sure how long it took but he was about to them out unharmed.
