Pretty much done with all the mechanicals on the 63 Belvedere Wagon. Going to put some fuel in and go Rail on it. If all goes well load it up and deliver it to my Bud in Pahrump and pick up the Duster He painted. Will get pics when I get back.

Or some trans fluid wicking up the cable to the speedo head. They are like a clutch and need to be dry. I lubed the head in one of my cars about 5yrs ago and it is just now starting to get back to normal. A shot of contact cleaner might help if you can get to it. Deoxit come to mind or QC...
Looks like some one got a bit happy with a die grinder/ gasket matching. The paper gaskets should do the trick sealing it up. Nice detail on the engine.
Unless you get NOS nobody I know of. I hose clamped some wire to the sender with a ring terminal to the frame up under by the tank. Works like a charm. The sender is still crapola. Maybe put a wanted ad in some one has to have a OEM one laying around.
Just watched Kozmoski on Youtube Everything you need to know is there. Seems like it can be used for a high build epoxy, a sealer and its tintable. Looks like a new product.
I think I am on my second one from Right Stuff. Reads empty when I have about a half tank remaining. Guess I could pull the sender and tweak the float arm but then I would not have a 9 gallon reserve.
My stock gauges mirror the 3 aftermarket ones pretty close. I used a new IP circuit board with a solid state regulator built in. Did the amp meter bypass and use a volt meter. All work except the fuel gauge has a mind of its own. Go figure that.
