This may be a dumb question, but trying to clean up a stock engine and pull off parts I know I won’t need and just take up space and create weight like the power steering pump and hoses, heater hoses, etc.
Does anyone make some decent looking caps to cover up inlets and outlets left behind...
Thanks, all. I ended up getting a 27F. Having it in the trunk the post locations don’t matter and the F is significantly cheaper with all the same specs as the regular 27. Pretty odd.
I used to build models back when I had time (pre-kids). Would love to get back into again maybe when some of my kids get a little older. What are the best sites to get kits and all these days? Last model I was working on I was going to try and fabricate a 67 GTX kit to try and make a scale model...
Yeah, I sent part 1 and 2 of the article. The performer RPM was pretty solid. Best was the Weiand Hi-Ram Tunnel Ram I believe, but if you don't want to cut up your hood then the RPM seems like the best option. Some others came pretty close.

I own an original 361 1966 Dodge Coronet too! Don't have the 361 anymore though. Someone else swapped in a 1969 383 4-barrel w/ 440 heads. I swapped out the manifolds for headers a while back. I think I may still have the original manifolds still. How much would those sell for? Didn't realize...
Looking to upgrade the wheels and tires on my project car from the scrap that is on there now. Car is a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. Disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear, but may convert those to discs as well. Does anyone know the biggest size i can fit in the rear without tubbing? Or is...
I guess my question is more around what size should I be getting if I go with Interstate or does it even matter? Again, it’s a project car so I want a battery that can take a beating, but don’t want to pay double the price if it does not matter for my case. I’m looking at 24, 24F (what I have...
Hello,
New here. Have a 1966 Dodge Coronet with a 69 4-barrel 383 in it. I’m looking for some input on batteries that can take a beating and what size I should get. Had a duralast gold that lasted a while, but leaning toward picking up an interstate from Costco.
I run Odyssey’s in my Cummins...
