I ripped some 2 X 4's down the middle and cut them 22 inches for the front and 20 inches for the rear. I then drilled holes in the bottom end of the wooden supports just a tad larger than the hood pin studs so that they fit snug down over the studs.
I got some 4 inch long wood lag screws...
Judging by what these A12's are going for I don't think the guy was too far off track. This is a rare Mopar that was the only rival to the Hemi cars of the day. It is a statement of American Muscle at it's strongest! It is one of my dream cars along with the Superbird!

Can anyone give me information on where to find or how to fabricate the hood props (stilts) used to position the lift off hood above the engine bay for public veiwing of the engine at shows? Thanks!
